Containing recipes, personal stories and back-of-house reportage photography, the book also features some of the notebooks Ralston has collected over his career. This detail was referenced in the design and production, resulting in a package which is intended to bring together the refinement of Ralston’s food with the utilitarian feel of a notebook.
